Rakim Hasheem Allen, known professionally as PnB Rock, was an American rapper, singer, and songwriter from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Born on December 9, 1991, PnB Rock rose to fame in the mid-2010s with a unique blend of hip-hop and R&B that resonated with a wide audience. His stage name, a nod to Pastorius and Baynton Streets in the Germantown neighborhood where he was raised, reflected his deep roots in Philadelphia's music and street culture.

PnB Rock's breakthrough came with the release of his hit single 'Selfish' in 2016, which peaked at number 51 on the US Billboard Hot 100.
