Guns N' Roses, an American hard rock band formed in Los Angeles in 1985, quickly rose to global fame with their debut album 'Appetite for Destruction' (1987), which remains one of the best-selling U.S. albums ever, featuring hits like 'Sweet Child o' Mine' and 'Welcome to the Jungle'. The band's lineup, most notably consisting of vocalist Axl Rose, lead guitarist Slash, and bassist Duff McKagan, became iconic figures in rock music.
