About Skrömta
Skrömta is a Swedish/Finnish folk ensemble who plays its own version of folk music, a rough mix of original compositions and traditional folk songs. The instruments are nyckelharpa, hurdygurdy, violin, vocals, guitar, double-bass and percussion. The members come from different parts of Sweden and Skrömta’s music is profoundly based upon the heritage of traditionial Scandinavian music, such as: polska, schottis, polka, hyfs, marches, walking tunes etc .
