Wet Wet Wet, a Scottish pop band formed in 1982, quickly became a staple of the UK music scene with their melodic pop-rock sound. The band, consisting of Marti Pellow (lead vocals), Tommy Cunningham (drums), Graeme Clark (bass), and Neil Mitchell (keyboards), first captured the public's attention with their debut album 'Popped In Souled Out' in 1987, which included the hit single 'Wishing I Was Lucky.' Their success continued with a string of hits throughout the late '80s and '90s, including 'Sweet Surrender,' 'Goodnight Girl,' and their massive international hit, a cover of The Troggs' 'Love Is All Around.' This track, featured on the soundtrack of the film 'Four Weddings and a Funeral,' spent an impressive 15 weeks at the top of the UK charts in 1994. Despite a hiatus in the early 2000s and the departure of Marti Pellow in 2017, Wet Wet Wet have left an indelible mark on the pop landscape, remembered for their soulful tunes and heartfelt lyrics.
