Known for their ethereal sound that blends elements of dream pop, folk, and psychedelia, Mazzy Star gained widespread acclaim with their 1993 hit "Fade Into You," which showcased Sandoval's haunting vocals and Roback's lush guitar work. Their debut album, "She Hangs Brightly," was released in 1990, followed by the critically acclaimed "So Tonight That I Might See" in 1993.
